Tickets for the EAAA lottery cost £1. Each week, entrants are eligible to win one of 118 prizes ranging from £5 to £1,000 in the weekly draw, and up to £25,000 in the accumulator draw. Results are drawn weekly using a random number generator to select winning numbers. One prize is allocated per number drawn. Prizes are then matched against the details of individual entrants and distributed via cheque or voucher. Entrants have a 1 in 1,072 chance of winning a prize in the weekly lottery. In the accumulator draw, there’s a 10% chance that a winning ticket is drawn. In 2024, EAAA received £6,694,909 in ticket sales. Of this, 82.22% went directly to the charity, 1.82% was spent on prizes, and 15.96% on expenses. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
