For many, Christmas is a time of joy and togetherness. But Christmas can turn to crisis if a medical emergency strikes at the heart of a family’s festive celebrations.
Our dedicated crews are ready to respond to the region’s most seriously injured and unwell people at a moment’s notice, 24/7, 365 days a year, including at Christmas. In December 2023, EAAA crews provided life-saving care to 157 people.
This could be to somebody’s home, in a busy town centre while people are out shopping, or on one of the region’s roads when families are travelling to meet loved ones for the festive season.
We can’t do this without you. Your donation is more than just a gift, it’s a lifeline. It ensures we have the resources to provide urgent critical care to patients, transport them safely to hospital, and bring hope to families in need.
We only go with you. However you choose to support us this winter, a heartfelt thank you.
“I’m emotional just thinking about Christmas. There will be tears, but good tears because I am still here. To the people who donate £5, £10 or whatever they can afford, thank you; you know it is going towards saving lives – and I am grateful you were there for me.”
Ruth Baron, former EAAA patient.
